long lost update

Well hello again, little one!  We were so excited to see your face finally.  :)  Daddy didn't know what to look for but mommy seen your little feet and counted 5 itty bitty piggies...

Now for the long lost update.  Last Friday was our regular OB appointment.  Everything was a-ok for the whole thirty seconds I was in there.  Shannon and Aaliyah came with me and we all got to hear the heart beat for the first time.  Loved it.
Today was the specialist appointment.  Daddy came with me of course since there was an ultra sound involved and he had yet to hear the heart beat.  They asked if I wanted to take a test to determine if the baby had down syndrome or any other chromosome disease.  I politely decline due to the fact that I could care less, honestly.  Is that supposed to change my mind?  And if it were to be positive - then what are my options?  Murder?  Of course not.  So why even find out.  Not to mention my little prophet/tess is covered by the blood of Jesus and He made him/her the way they are so I'm just going to trust Him instead.  :)

Finally the weird camera touches my belly and I instantly notice that someone has grown up a whole lot.  What used to look like a blob sitting in a black hole now looks just like a baby.  I seen little hands and little feet.  I counted five little toes.  The hands were over the face.  No more tail.  Now if only I could feel this little thing...

She did some measurements and said the spine, neck and nose were perfect.  The chord placement was perfect too.  My placenta moved up high and was right where it was supposed to be.  She said my kidney ultra sound came back perfect.  I felt so relieved after this appointment.  Everything went so well I don't have to go back for 8 weeks instead of 4.  She also said when we come back we can find out the sex.  FINALLY!

SO excited God has His hand on this little one and everything is going so smoothly.  The ride to the doctor could have been better.  I guess I got a little motion sick and we had to pull over needless to say.  It comes with the job.  :)  Ci Ci's was for lunch and I think I ate Taylor and my money's worth.

I'm starting to feel sick and think it's my sinus's.  Other then that all is well.  Still tired, emotional and hungry twenty four hours a day but I don't mind.  Back pain is kicking in almost daily, but I don't mind that either.  How much more worth it could it be?  :)
