We have had one doctors appointment since my last update. It was with my regular doctor. He did all the usual measurements and such and everything was perfect as usual. The time came to check his little heart beat and my little angel decided to kick the monitor once Dr Hoerner pressed down. It made static and made me smile. He seems like his daddy already. Our next ultra sound is this Wednesday, the 22nd. We are so excited to see how big he got. He is super active; morning, noon and night. The doctor says healthy babies are the most active which makes me think this little boy is as healthy as they come.
He kicks the most at night right before bedtime. He also likes his own space and if you poke - he kicks. When I am washing dishes, my belly pushes against the counter, and he is then kicking the counter. It cracks me up sometimes. His name is Elijah Beatmann. We are unsure of a final middle name yet. At 24 weeks I am officially starting to feel the last and final trimester discomforts. Most mornings I wake upfeeling like I got hit by a mack truck. Back aches, leg pain, head aches and the newest...rib pain? I am attributing it to someone exploring further. :) I will be updating again later this week with the newest pictures of my sugar plum.
